We had our ultrasound yesterday and found out we are having our third baby girl! I thought for sure we were having a boy, I mean, what are the chances right? We couldn't be more excited, especially Bella. She has been saying that she wants another little sister, and that the baby in mommy's tummy is a "sistoh". She apparently has pink eyes, blonde hair and her name is dozy. Pretty cute for a three year old.

Wow how time flies! Bella is my little unique daughter. So serious and task oriented for a little kid. She makes such a good big sister. She was our first baby, and goodness did I have to make some adjustments from working business woman to stay at home mommy. I think it is an adjustment with each child, but I think the first baby is the biggest adjustment. She is as my friend Lisa would say.."an old soul". And it is so true. I am so grateful that she is the oldest, she carries such a responsibility as oldest, and I can already tell that she has it naturally in her to fulfill that obligation. As her mommy, I am so proud of her. She has changed me so much since she has become a part of our family. She is such a good child, obedient and always wanting to keep the peace in our home. She is so loved and needed in our family. Happy BIrthday Bella!

To all who can relate. I think one of the most challenging things of motherhood in itself is pregnancy. Or at least the first trimester. If you have had a baby and the baby is more than a couple months old, chances are you've forgotten. I especially think its difficult when you have other children to care for. Don't you just feel like a "bad mom"? I seriously have laid around on the couch for 10 weeks now. And it has felt like forever. Then bam! You feel better, and then you start to pick up the pieces, and feel a sense of panic. It's the moment that you get to again re-define yourself. And might I say, what a wonderful and sometimes scary event! I do know that it is all of gods plan. But as you are going through hard things (whether its pregnancy or something else) one might doubt, digress, harden etc. I think it is a wonderful growing experience to constantly have to redefine yourself as a person. We are all changing, we are wondering if we are doing what's right for ourselves, what's right for our families. What is it that makes us the best mothers.. wives ect. Hardships are what make us better wives and mothers! Overcomming obstacles, standing boldly for the things YOU believe are right. I think standing boldly for what you believe takes great courage, and it's not the most popular thing to do. We are women of much strength. Why else would he choose us to bear his children. We are the heartbeats of our homes, and I am so grateful to be a mother and a wife, as challenging as it is... how worth it! I am truly grateful to be feeling better. And a big "muuuuuah" to all who are struggling, or feeling inadequate, or feeling secure and high on life! You are loved!

K.. So i am finally at 16 weeks and pregnancy wise feeling sooo much better. My family and I have been sick since before Thanksgiving with whatever is going around. It is still lingering on me, but at least I took a shower and did my hair today. Anyway, these are just too cute not to post. A little late, but better late than never eh? So here is the last couple of months. Enjoy!

Yeah!! We are 10 weeks along and just heard our baby's heartbeat this morning. We are very excited and wanted to share it with everyone. I especially wanted to thank friends, family and neighbors for bringing me dinners, taking my girls, encouraging phone calls ect. You all are the best. I have been sooo sick with this pregnancy for some reason. Even sicker than with Lilieigh. It got so bad that I had to finally get some nausea medication. This has been a blessing!!! We are so excited for #3!!

We got to spend the day at the Zoo... the girls weren't as excited as I had anticipated.. the cages are so big and the animals..well let's just be honest.. sleep! So they couldn't quite determine what the big fluffy ball in the corner was! But as for the ice cream... well you guessed it!

I have had this week to think about this past year that has come and gone. We have had many ups and downs. Lileigh is officially better! The doctors are baffled at her recovery. She was in "uncharted territory" as they would always say, which obviously couldn't bring much comfort. But through prayer and patience, the lord has blessed her to recovery. I am posting some pictures that bring some emotion to me through this past year of Lileigh's life. I hope you all enjoy.

K.. so my sweet little Lileigh is starting to get a little personality of her own. When she doesn't get her way, she falls limp, (wherever.. meaning tile floor, cement etc.) screams and cries and she gets pretty banged up. I can count three bruises to date that she has on her little face. What people must think! This is a black eye to remember. Unfortunately the picture doesn't give full justice!

Let's Go Fly A Kite!

Grandma got Bella a kite to fly. She is obsessed with Mary Poppins and always sings that song. So it was a cold windy day and we attempted to get that thing off of the ground. I definitely made a spectacle of myself! But of course, she had to wear her white princess shoes (her church shoes) and her crown she got from her happy meal. It was fun!

Bella was invited to her cousins party. They had Cinderella there and she tied balloons, did magic tricks and oh yes face painting. Bella absolutely loved it. Weird since she hates being messy or painted on. I could barely coax her into the bath!

First thing in the morning their little easter baskets were waiting for them. We also had a fun little easter egg hunt (inside our house of course). Bella loved it! I don't think I hid the easter eggs too well tho, it seemed way too easy for her. :) It was fun!

Bella loves watching mommy put on her makeup. So as I was getting ready for the day, I decided to let her participate. It freaked me out because she is too beautiful! I couldn't believe how grown up she looked... I am not ready for that!! She is still my lil baby girl.

I Love to see the Temple...

My family and I got to spend time together at Temple Square. We let Bella throw her "monies" in the water fountain. She had an absolute blast! She kept saying "mommy temple....daddy temple... She also loved all the princesses (brides dressed in white) that were walking the temple grounds.

We also got to go to the "I am a Child of God" museum. They built temples out of blocks, walked the iron rod, preached at the pulpit (my favorite). Suprisingly Bella got up and said a little prayer.. too cute! And watched a program of Pres. Hinckley. It was really neat. Grandpa and Grandma had their hands full with all the kids.

We were able to enjoy time with Lisa, Kaydee and Parker. We tried to snap a shot of all of us..... (the other one that isn't posted is of my two girls crying). You know you are a mom, when you can sit smiling (sincerely) with your kids crying.

Then we posed the kiddies on the fire place, it was a miracle we actually got a shot, they kept escaping! We had to bribe Lileigh with a fake flower bud, just to keep her still.... aren't they precious!

A Masterpiece!

We spent a fun morning using our creativity and painting a masterpiece! Lileigh decided that she wanted to crawl through all of the paint dishes and onto the floor and paper. She clapped and clapped and loved getting messy, she obviously didn't want to stop! On the other hand Bella slowly but surely poked her little finger into the paint dish and ever so carefully dotted the paper, then finally decided to join the mess as she saw her little sister getting paint everywhere! It is the first time Bella has ever let paint get all over her. It was a fun time!!!!!

This is one of Bella's favorite things to do. We had purchased a set of dress up clothes and shoes for her, but of course my shirt and my purse and of course the silver stiletto's are her favorites! She walks around the house with my shoes on... usually carefully trying on each and every pair. "Bella going to chu'ch mommy", is usually her comment as she pretends to head for the door.

Ryan and I have been married for over 5 years. We bought our first home 2 years ago in August. I am a stay at home mommy and LOVE IT! We were blessed with two little angels. Isabella "Bella" is 2 years old, and Lileigh is 8 months old. They are our pride and joy.

Bella and Lileigh couldn't be more opposite. Bella is a busy body and loves tasks. Lileigh is very laid back and likes for mommy to hold her as much as possible. Bella is our blue eyed beauty, with her fair skin and blonde hair. Lileigh is dark, with brown eyes like daddy. She is always happy, and laughs over anything. It's still an adjustment for Bella, having a little sister. Now that Lileigh is mobile and crawls, she likes to follow her sister everywhere!

Bella treats Lileigh like she is her mommy. She tries to fix her hair, dress her and feed her too.
